My mom, sister and sister-in-law went with the red, white and blue food theme for our annual 4th of Julyfamily get together. All of the red, white and blue desserts were delicious, so I’m sharing the recipe ideas for your Independence Day party!
Red, White & Blue Popcorn Balls
Popcorn Balls Ingredients
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter
- 40 large marshmallows
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 12 cups popped popcorn
- food coloring (optional)
Popcorn Balls Instructions
Melt margarine, vanilla and marshmallows together in microwave. Stir in food coloring to make desired color. If making multiple colors, seperate first (or make more batches). Mix in popcorn until evenly covered. Form into balls with greased hands. Place on wax paper and let stand until firm. All ages love popcorn balls!
